Syntel Takes Home Indo-American Trade Award
Recognized for Operational Excellence in Technology and Communications
TROY, Mich. – July 10, 2014 – Syntel, Inc. (Nasdaq:SYNT), a global provider of digital transformation, information technology and knowledge process services to Global 2000 companies, today announced that the Company received the award for Operational Excellence in Technology and Communications at the 10th Indo-American Trade Excellence awards organized by the Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC).
The IATE Awards celebrate the contributions of companies in furthering India-U.S. trade cooperation, and recognitions are handed out both to Indian companies operating in the United States as well as U.S. companies operating in India.
Syntel received the award for operational excellence for a U.S. technology or communications company operating in India.
The awards ceremony was held on July 2, 2014 in Mumbai, India, and was co-hosted by Nanik Rupani, Regional President of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) and Deanna Abdeen, U.S. Consul General, Mumbai.
Syntel Chief Operating Officer Rakesh Khanna attended the ceremony to accept the award, which was presented by Koyal Rana, Femina Miss India 2014.
