Syntel KPO Wins Multiple Awards for Lean Business Initiatives 

Syntel has been recognized for by three international organizations for Lean and Six Sigma initiatives in its KPO business.

• In October 2009, it was awarded a Golden Peacock Innovation Award-Special Commendation for creating innovations through lean approaches. This award recognizes new ideas, new product s, inventions, services, processes, new financial techniques or business structures. The award was announced at a London, UK conference organized by Institute of Directors.
• In September 2009, Syntel’s KPO business was recognized with a SCMHRD Lean & Six Sigma Excellence Award for defect elimination in asset management using the DMAIC approach.
• In June 2009, Syntel's KPO team won the Best Innovative Lean Project award at the 10th Annual Asian Six Sigma and Lean Process Improvement Summit held in Singapore. The winning project is part of Syntel's Global Transaction Processing engagement.
